1980 white Fleetwood Cadillac. It's like, the biggest car made. It
was huge. I'd make them drop me off a block or two away so I could
walk. My three older brothers would pick me up sometimes in the same
car. They'd pull up right to the front of the school and crank country
music and sing really loud until I came out. I was so embarrassed."

Mena's big breakthrough was playing Angela in
the Oscar-winning American Beauty. "I got to bring a lot of myself
into it -- the way she's kind of snotty and sassy and frisky. I
had a lot of fun with it and let myself go."
