| Eva Mendes, the youngest of four children, was born in Houston,
Texas, and raised in Miami and Los Angeles. When she was a student at Cal State
Northridge, she was accidentally discovered when an agent happened to notice her
picture in her photographer friend's portfolio. After doing one film, she decided
to drop out of college to pursue acting full time. Soon Eva was offered
commercials, music videos, (Aerosmith's Hole in My Sole and Will Smith's
Miami,) and TV roles, (ER.) You may remember Eva for her daring
ten minutes as the Denzel Washington's naked mistress in Training Day. |
